Synopsis: Shikkhar Shamajik Daayitto as the key strategy to create sustainability of Quality Education through the self-reliant efforts jointly by the school and community. Shikkhar Shamajik Daayitto or SSD Foundation is committed to ensure the quality education for all students through engagement of community and schools.
Speaker’s Biography: Dr. Jasimuz Zaman had been a Professor of Chemical Engineering at BUET from 1963 to 1992. After spending eighteen years in Canada teaching at the University of Calgary and the Calgary branch of DeVry University, he returned to Bangladesh in 2010 to fulfill his passion for helping children of Rural Bangladesh receive Quality Education. From 2010 to 2021, he led the education program of the International NGO, Volunteers Association for Bangladesh as a full-time Volunteer. In 2023, he launched a new organization with a new concept developed over years of experience. He is propounding Shikkhar Shamajik Daayitto as the key strategy to create sustainability of Quality Education through the self-reliant efforts jointly by the school and community.
